"Lori worked on my team for over 9 years at Quorum (a SaaS dealership management company). I met her prior to that at an industry convention and was immediately impressed! It took quite a while, but I finally convinced her to join our team as our first full-time marketing director. Lori is exceptionally bright and energetic and continually strives to expand her knowledge (example: the rigorous effort to earn a digital marketing certification from MIT Sloan, plus a leadership certificate from Harvard). She always brings fresh thinking and ideas to the table and is not afraid to roll up her sleeves and execute on them.
However, the quality that I admire most about Lori is her drive, and the bar she sets for herself and others. Few people take their responsibilities as seriously as Lori does. As usual, her execution was outstanding, and she demonstrated a real aptitude for managing and inspiring her new team members. In fact, I found her high-energy approach to motivation and recognition for her team to be an example that the other leaders (myself included) should follow.
